Labelprint24 presents innovative new products at CosmeticBusiness 2019
The packaging specialist has a number of surprises in store for the most important European trade show for cosmetics suppliers. For example, the company is presenting a recyclable tube made of single-variety polypropylene at its extravagantly styled booth. This newsustainable PP tubeis autoclavable and features 100 percent recyclability compared to classic tube products. And it has equivalent barrier properties against oxygen and water vapor. Polypropylene is stronger and more stable than polyethylene; therefore, when using PP, the laminate thickness can be reduced while maintaining the same rigidity. The lower material usage has a direct positive effect on resource consumption and the eco-balance.
For the first time, the company will be presenting another new product at its booth, the "Digibox". This is a folding box whose procurement and production is completely digital and automated. A high-speed, high-performance laser is used, making the mechanical die-cutter obsolete. For customers, this web-to-pack principle means faster time-to-market with considerable cost savings.
In hardly any other industry is it as necessary to present products in a classy look as it is in the cosmetics industry. For this reason, the packaging manufacturer has added new innovative finishing and printing solutions for visually appealing cosmetics packaging to its range. Laminate tubes with a butt seam, for example, enable an attractive 360-degree digital print of the motif.
With digital hot foil stamping, a new finishing method is available that enhances cosmetic folding cartons enormously both visually and emotionally with its metallic gloss effect. Labelprint24 realizes noble metallic effects with this process and makes this luxurious type of finishing affordable even for short runs and test series, effectively from run 1.
In Hall 1 at Stand C30, Labelprint24.com will present its complete range of packaging solutions for the cosmetics industry. These include digitally printed cosmetics labels, sandwich and booklet labels, high-finish folding boxes, customized cartons, small-folded package inserts and laminate tubes with perfectly matched barrier properties.
