Our cardboard boxes at Labelprint24 are produced out of corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is made by gluing together a smooth and a corrugated paper sheet, which gives the corrugation its stability. For us, sustainability is an important focus in our company philosophy. Our corrugated cardboard is therefore made from renewable raw materials and can therefore be completely recycled. About 80 percent of the annual production volume consists of recycled material. Corrugated cardboard therefore has a great advantage in terms of sustainability and for the conservation of resources. At Labelprint24 we offer three different types of corrugated board:
The E-flute(also called ultra-fine or micro-flute) has a particularly high quality and is suitable for lighter products. A B-flute(fine flute), on the other hand, which is twice as strong as the E-flute, is very suitable for product and shipping packaging. The strongest flute at Labelprint24 with 4.5 millimetres is the EB-flute(double flute) and can be used for heavy products up to approximately 30 kilograms. Our cardboard boxes are also provided with the so-called FEFCO code.
The FEFCO code is an internationally valid code for describing corrugated cardboard packaging materials. FEFCO stands for "Fédération Européenne des Fabricants de Carton Ondule" (European Federation of Corrugated Cardboard Manufacturers). The association was founded in Brussels in 1952. Since the code was adopted by the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA), it has also been in use worldwide. The code is used to divide corrugated cardboard boxes into basic types and to describe their exact design. The first two digits (02) describe the basic type of cardboard box. In this case, folding boxes and folding crates are meant.
Finally, Labelprint24 provides various coatings for your folding box with tuck-in flap. If you would like to use a protective varnish for your boxes, then you can choose between a glossy or a matt print varnish. If, on the other hand, you choose a protective laminate, you have the option of laminating your cardboard boxes with a transparent glossy or transparent matt finish.
