FEFCO 0503 - Template

The cardboard slipcase according to FEFCO 0503 is a versatile outer packaging or banderols. Cardboard slipcases are not classic packaging, but are used much more as an advertising medium or protective cover. The outer packaging still offers your products a secure hold or serves as a supplement to your actual packaging.

The banderols can be used in many ways, for example for books, catalogues or in the industrial sector. It is also possible to have your cardboard slipcase printed individually. You are welcome to send us your print data. In this way, the cardboard slipcases serve not only as protection, but also as a practical advertising medium for product slogans, advertising messages, logos etc. With your cardboard slipcases you can stand out from the crowd. High-quality products in particular can be optimally presented in this way. On the cardboard slipcase you can also place additional important information for your customers, which are not listed on your actual product packaging. It shows that the cardboard slipcases are helpful and useful additions to your goods.

Corrugated cardboard - a sustainable raw material derived from nature

Our cardboard slipcases are made of corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is a very stable, robust and durable material. It is used very frequently and in many different ways in the packaging industry. In addition, corrugated cardboard has a very good recycling balance, as 80 percent of the cardboard is recycled and consists of natural raw materials. At Labelprint24 we are very mindful of our actions towards the environment. When recycling corrugated cardboard, fossil resources are preserved and energy and water consumption are reduced. Corrugated cardboard is made from different paper webs.

During production, a smooth and a corrugated paper web are glued together with adhesive. Depending on the intended use, single-flute, double-flute or even triple-flute corrugated cardboard is produced. At Labelprint24 you can choose between an E-, B- or EB-flute. The E-flute is the finest flute with a thickness of 1.5 millimetres. At 3 millimetres, the B flute is twice as strong as the E flute and is therefore well suited for product and shipping packaging. The strongest material for cardboard packaging is the EB-flute (also called double flute) with a thickness of 4.5 millimetres and is suitable for particularly heavy products.

Double protection with a coating at Labelprint24

Cardboard slipcases can also be used as additional protective packaging. You can slide the outer packaging over your actual packaging. This protects your product from bumps, drops and pressure from the outside. You can also choose to have your cardboard slipcase coated. At Labelprint24 we offer you two different options for this. With our calculator you can choose between a protective lacquer or a protective laminate. If you would like to use a protective lacquer, then you can choose between a glossy or a matt print lacquer. If you choose a protective laminate, on the other hand, you have the option of laminating your boxes with a transparent gloss or transparent matt finish.
